Alumni Profile

From the current data records, since 1977 the German Language Education Study Program FPBS UPI has graduated 1,443 alumni.

Based on the results of the tracer study, in general, the alumni of the German Language Education Program at FPBS UPI have completed their studies in a range of 8 to 10 semesters.

The majority of alumni have stated that they are currently employed or engaged in entrepreneurship, with an average waiting period after graduation until obtaining their first job being less than six months.

The alumni have a variety of job types. Most of the alumni work as educators, either as teachers in schools or as instructors in course institutions. The majority of others work in the private sector.

35% of tracer study respondents stated that they work in local-level institutions; 32% work in national-level institutions; 26% work in international-level institutions.

n terms of relevance, 37% of alumni expressed that the field of study in German Language has high relevance to their current job; 36% stated moderate relevance; 27% stated low relevance.

Regarding further studies, the majority of alumni from the German Language Education Program FPBS UPI stated that they did not pursue further studies.

The high number of alumni who did not pursue further studies can be understood, as most of the alumni stated that their current level of education is already appropriate for their jobs.
