"Cultivating Dreams of Future German Language Teachers at the Leading and Outstanding University"
The German Language Education Program is one of the ten programs offered by the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) at the Indonesia University of Education (UPI). Established in 1957, this program has been a pioneer in teaching the German language in Indonesia. Since its inception, the German Language Education Program at FPBS UPI has been strongly committed to shaping educators with expertise in the German language.
The achievements of the German Language Education Program are officially recognized, with an "excellent" accreditation status from BAN PT and internationally certified with an "unconditional" rating from AQAS.

The admission system for new students in the German Language Education Program at FPBS UPI follows the admission system for new students at UPI, which is coordinated and implemented by the committee that applies to every faculty.
In 2023, UPI admit new undergraduate students (S1 and D4) through four pathways, namely:
1). SNBP, 2). SNBT, 3). SNM PTN Barat, dan 4). Seleksi Mandiri

Data diperoleh dari hasil tracer study Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman FPBS UPI tahun 2023, dengan jumlah responden 178 lulusan dari tiga tahun terakhir. Empat orang mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman FPBS UPI secara resmi dinyatakan lulus seleksi untuk mendapatkan beasiswa Hochschulsommerkurs-Stipendium 2022 dari DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), lembaga dinas pertukaran akademis dari negara Jerman. Para mahasiswa ini mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar bahasa Jerman di kota-kota di negara Jerman dalam selama kurang lebih empat minggu.
Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman dengan ini memutuskan nama-nama sebagaimana disebut di bawah ini sebagai kandidat penerima Das Baden-Württemberg-Stipendium 2022 yang lolos seleksi tingkat Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Yang bersangkutan kemudian akan diajukan untuk mengikuti seleksi lanjutan oleh pihak BWS Jerman. Berikut adalah daftar nama kandidat yang lolos disusun secara alfabetis: 1.
